  • Researching, inspecting and evaluating each item in the estate for sale
  • Pricing items
  • Professional interior signage: directional, informational and safety
  • Advertising and promotion of the sale including classifieds, website postings with photos, weekly emails to 5000+ subscribers, and professional neighborhood signage
  • Obtaining proper permits if necessary (i.e. parking)
  • Cleaning of premises before, during and after the estate sale
  • Staging an armed security guard at the entrance of the estate sale to which his responsibilities include greeting customers and verifying that paid receipts of purchased items match the items with which customers are exiting the estate sale
  • Trained sales staff at our estate sales who not just ticket writers
  • Managing control of the number of customers in the home at any given time
  • Using a silent bid system to encourage the sale of higher priced or slow moving items
  • Providing an adequate supply of bags, boxes and wrapping paper for purchases
